The main island of Inis Mor and the hills of Connemara are the distance. The cottage is thatched in traditional rye straw along with a studio with a green roof of Sea Pinks. and the cottage, Like all the island, our electricity is from environmentally friendly windpower.

The thatched cottage, on right, (look inside) is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the Aran island of Inis Meain, eight miles off the coast of Ireland in Galway Bay. Travel by ferry (40 mins) or Islander plane (8 mins). Underfloor heating- via the islands three windmills - keeps this cottage with metre thick wals comfortable . There is also a solid fuel stove to heat the entire cottage.
